Wilma Dearfield Riffe

Wilma Dearfield Riffe, 81 of Grayson went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at her residence. Wilma was born August 8, 1938 in Grayson, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Shaffer Dearfield. She had previously owned several businesses in Grayson, was a licensed beautician and respiratory therapist. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl "Red" Riffe; grandson, Kevin Crisp II; four brothers, Charles, Brock, Harold and Clifford Dearfield; one sister, Ruth Jarvis. Her survivors include two sons, Charles (Alyssa) Crisp of Cannonsburg, KY and Kevin (Cindy) Crisp both of Grayson; two daughters, Libby (Van) Stephens and Rita Blevins both of Grayson; one sister Sue Vance of Somerset, KY; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two special caregivers, Sylvia Dearfield and Darlene Mullins.
Services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Martin, minister. Burial will be in the Grayson Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Greg Stephens, Corey Stephens, Dustin Blevins, Josh Blevins, Charlie Joe Crisp, Trent Salyer, Tanner Edmonds and Jerimiah Dempsey. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
