Esther Hall
Esther M. Evans Hall, 97, of Lexington, formerly of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at NorthPoint Healthcare Center in Lexington. Born Oct. 6, 1918, at Bruin, in Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jenny Conn Evans. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister. Her husband, Stewart H. Hall, passed away in 1976. Mrs. Hall is survived by three daughters, Patricia "Patty" Vincent and Dan of Lexington, Barbara Wells of Clearwater, Florida, and Kathaleen Pickens of Mansfield, Ohio; one son, Stewart Allen Hall and Bonnie of Nicholasville; four grandchildren, Joni Trimble, Vicki Hamac, Jill Vincent Cummins, and Duane Hall and six great grandchildren. Other survivors include two sisters, Merle Shumate of Mansfield, Ohio, and Magelane Clark of Enterprise, and loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hall was a retired seamstress from Cowden Manufacturing in Olive Hill. She loved quilting, nurturing flower gardens, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Fielding Cemetery in Lawton. Pallbearers: Michael Davis, Duane Hall, Nick Cummins, Craig Brown, Woodrow Seagraves, and Dan Reynolds. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
