Charles Eugene Tussey
December 22, 1943 - April 25, 2020
Charles Eugene Tussey, 76, of Denton went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Eugene was born December 22, 1943 in Denton, a son of the late Charlie and Deloris McWhorter Tussey. He retired from General Refractories Hitchins, was a member of Hitchins Gospel Mission, attended the Johns Run Tabernacle and a member of F.A.&M. Trimble Lodge #145 Grayson. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Patrick Tussey in 2017 and an infant sister, Joann Tussey. He is survived by one son, Michael (Darlena) Tussey of Denton; one brother, Harold (Maryellen) Tussey of Grayson; three Grandchildren, Paige (Larry) Doucet, Karlie (Aaron Nichols) Tussey and Hannah (Brandon Fannin) Tussey; one great-grandson, Larry "Tripp" Doucet.
A private funeral service will be conducted at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Delmar Rogers, officiating. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
