Wilma Lee Patrick Tussey, 73, of Denton went to be with her Lord Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Wilma was born April 19, 1944 in Sandy Hook, KY a daughter of the late Leland Wallace and Marie Adkins Patrick.
Wilma attended the Johns Run Tabernacle. Wilma retired from Carter County 911 Dispatch after 25 years of service. Wilma loved her grandchildren and great-grandchild with all her heart, enjoyed reading, shopping, auctions and traveling to Amish country.
Wilma is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Eugene Tussey; a son, Michael (Darlena) Tussey of Denton; three grandchildren, Paige (Larry) Doucet of Lexington, Karlie Tussey and Hannah Tussey both of Denton; one great-grandchild; Larry Bruce Tripp Doucet III; a sister, Vilma Kay (Vencil) Branham of Isonville, KY; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Branham, Phillip Branham, Ryan Tussey, Kegan Tussey, Larry Doucet and Kenny Sturgill.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday June 30, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Delmar Rogers and Ed McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
