William's Story

William R. "Bill" Bradley, 80, of Grayson passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. He was born Jan. 25, 1936 in Grayson, a son of the late Hobert and Avonell Huffman Bradley.
He loved his country and proudly served and retired from the United States Air Force, Armco Steel and KY State Parks. Bill was a member of the VFW and the DAV.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margarete Schanen Bradley, a son Aaron Keith Bradley, two brothers, Lawrence and James Bradley, a sister, Nadine Brammell, a grandson, William Preston Bradley, two brother -in-laws, Paul Damron and Virgil Brammell.
He is survived by three sons, Ernie (Cheryl) Bradley of Letcher, Norman (Nancy) Bradley of Isom, and Johnathon (Deanna) Bradley of Grayson; two brothers, Hobert (Sharon) Bradley of West Milton, OH, Arnold (Liz) Bradley of Bridgeston, MO; two sisters, Ruth Damron of Grayson and Wilma (Bill Roy) Stephens of Bronston; two sister-in-law's, Lyndia Bradley of Cape Coral, FL and Violet Bradley of Grayson; twelve grandchildren, Jeremy Bradley, Brooke Castle, Cortni Oakley, Aundria Bush, Levi (Andrea) Barnes, Alexis Collins, Jodi Salyers, Rebecca Hall, Paul Collins, Dwayne McFeeney, Kimberly Bradley, and Kali Greer; nine great-grandchildren, Noah, Sofia, Ady, Madison, Autumn Rayne, Branden, Joey, Kenli, and Kaden and his special dog, little man, "Hank".
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, William K. Jones and Kyle Burchett, officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Sparks Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, Disabled American Veterans or Saints John and Elizabeth Catholic Church.
