Warren's Story

Mr. Warren Grant Carter, age 72, of Grayson, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 12, 2016, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
He was born Sept. 3, 1944, in Boyd County, a son of the late Warren and Jo Collier Carter.
Warren was of the Baptist faith and worked at the Betsy Ross Bakery in Ashland. He enjoyed woodworking, stain glass, talking on his Ham Radio and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Warren is survived by his wife of 50 years, Minnie Coburn Carter; two sons, Warren Anthony Carter (Paula) of Owingsville, and Toby Carter (Jenny) of Grayson; three daughters, Tammy Marie Carter (Rick Bennett) and Terry Carter Moore (David), all of Lexington, and Tonya Faye Cooper (James Darren) of Grayson; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two brothers, Wayne Keith Carter (Joyce) and Charlie Cline Carter (Diane), all of Clearwater, Florida. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, with Brother Bobby Day officiating.
Friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.
