Mr. Timothy Kent DeBord, age 57, of Olive Hill, passed away Friday morning, Nov. 25, 2016, at his residence.
He was born June 4, 1959, Fort Gordon, Georgia, a son of Jolene Flannery DeBord of Olive Hill, and the late James Luckins DeBord.
Timothy proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed working on cars, four wheeling, gardening, shooting his gun, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by, one brother, Eric DeBord.
In addition to his mother, Timothy is survived by his wife of four years, Cindy Wells DeBord; two daughters, Dr. Kristin DeBord James and Jarrod of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Ashley Nicole Adams of Grayson; one step-daughter, Lydia L. Evans of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Xander Wayne Campbell and Rhianna Dawn Adams; four step-grandchildren; and two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ernie and Teresa DeBord of Olive Hill, David and Donna DeBord of Morehead, and Tina DeBord of Olive Hill. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at the Tick Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, with Brother Adam Buckler officiating. Full military honors will be presented by the Olive Hill American Legion Post #138 in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Jamie Flannery, Ernie DeBord, David DeBord, Randy Nichlos, Eric Kilgore, Mark Boggs, and Jarrod James will serve as pallbearers.
