Thomas James Gemeinhart, 84 of Grayson went to be with his Lord Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Tom was born Jan. 25, 1932 in Homestead, PA a son of the late Charles Henry and Margaret James Gemeinhart. He was a retired minister of the Gospel, Professor Emeritus at Kentucky Christian College where he taught church history and world missions and long-time statistician for WGOH-WUGO radio for all sports. Tom was an avid model train collector and gardener. He is survived by his lovely wife of 64 years, Ruth Crawford Gemeinhart; two sons, Ken and wife Gayle Gemeinhart of Jacksonville FL and Bradley Gemeinhart of Tulsa OK; one daughter, Alma and husband David Holl of Centerburg OH; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at Malone Funeral Home with Francis Nash and Ken Gemeinhart, officiating. Burial will be in the Grayson Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home.
