Terry's Story

Mr. Terry Lee Dinkens, age 55, of Rush, passed away Tuesday morning, February 13, 2018, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

He was born March 10, 1962, in Ishpeming, Michigan, a son of the late James Edward and Dorothy Lee Hale Dinkens.

Terry worked as a truck driver for L R Daniels Trucking Company and he loved trucking, camping, listening to country music, watching movies, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Rowe and Dawn Dinkens.

Terry is survived by his companion, Donna Crisp of Rush; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jimmy and Donita Dinkens and Anthony Dinkens, all of Flatwoods; two sisters, Debra Vanhoose and Holly Dinkens, both of Flatwoods; and Donna's children, Jenelle Vaughn of Rush, and Marlena Greene of Ashland. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, with Brother Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Burton Family Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the funeral home.
