Sandra Jarrell

Mrs. Sandra Dee Erwin Jarrell, age 53, of Globe, passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 20, 2016, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born May 27, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Glen Erwin Jr. and Rosemary King Erwin of Globe.
Sandra worked as a social worker for the Carter County Child Support Office. She previously worked as a nurse at several hospitals and nursing homes and enjoyed working and being with her coworkers. Sandra loved going to sporting events with her children and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffery Erwin; her paternal grandparents, Glen and Kathleen Erwin; and her maternal grandparents, Steve and Sophia King.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jhan Jarrell; three children, Kayla Jordan and her husband, T.C. Jordan, Joe Jarrell, and Justin Jarrell and his wife, Emily Jarrell, all of Olive Hill; four grandsons, Tayler Jordan, Bryson Jordan, Kameron Jordan, and Jaxson Jarrell, all of Olive Hill; and one brother, Steve Erwin of Olive Hill. She also leaves many other family members, coworkers, and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Randy Salyers, Brother Bradley Cotten, and Brother Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, and until the service hour on Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Bill Bradley, Dexter Bradley, Randan Salyers, Levi Oppenheimer, Danny Peck and Jeb Jarrell will serve as pallbearers. Leck Bradley, Randy Salyers, Lynn Johnson, and Dale Hicks will serve as honorary pallbearers.
