Samuel Bruce Keffer, 70 of Grayson died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his residence. Bruce was born Feb. 2, 1947 in Greenup County, a son of the late Wesley and Eula Vanhorn Keffer. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam conflict, worked for Steve Womack Land Development and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Calloway and one brother John William Keffer. His survivors include his longtime companion, Jan Clark; two sons, Chris and wife Denise Keffer of Grayson, Isreal and wife Debra Keffer of Grayson; two step-sons, Josh and fiancé Callina Mullins of Grayson and Travis and wife Amber Mullins of Grayson; three sisters, Martha and husband Charles Kouns of Hitchins, Josie and husband Randy McGlone of Grayson and Sally and Elwood Ebert of Grayson; one brother, Steven and wife Karen Keffer of Huntington WV; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Malone Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Clark Family Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday. Condolences may be sent to Bruce's family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
