Russell Romans, Sr., 72, passed away October 21, 2017 surrounded by his children, in Rossville ,GA. Russell is a native of Grayson, and the son of the late Everett and Loma Romans.

Russell is survived by 4 daughters, Barbra Jarvis of Tunnel Hill Georgia, Sherry Dean of Rush Kentucky, Tammy (Kenny) Robertson of Ceredo West Virginia and Melissa Romans of McDermott, Ohio, 6 sons, Scott (Dianne) Romans of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Russell "Rusty" Romans Jr. (Cindy) of Wildwood Georgia, Terry (Margret) Romans of Mount Sterling Kentucky, Dwayne Romans of Tunnel Hill Georgia, Billy (Martha) Romans of Dalton, Georgia, and Kelly Romans of Louisville Kentucky, 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby (Lou) Romans of Grayson; and a sister Zelda (Nick) Rice of Grayson..

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Romans, 2 sons, Phil Romans and Michael Romans, a granddaughter Bambi Romans, son-n-law Jeff Jarvis, 3 brothers, Raymond Romans, Fred Romans, Frank Romans, and 2 sisters, Phyllis Fankell, and Mary Roe.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday, October 27th, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Mike Rice officiating. Burial will follow in East Carter County Memory Gardens. Carrying their father to his final resting place as pallbearers will be his 6 sons, Scott, Rusty, Terry, Dwayne, Billy, and Kelly.
