Ricky Lynn Lowe, 55, of Olive Hill entered into rest Friday morning Nov. 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 19, 1961 at the Stovall Hospital in Grayson, a son Carmel Lowe of Olive Hill, and the late Betty Ruth James Lowe.
Ricky was a former School Bus Driver for Carter County Schools, former employee of Cooks Family Foods in Grayson, and a life-long farmer. He was currently Vice-President of the Old Time Machinery Association in Grayson, having served as President in 2015, a member of the Carter County Cattlemen's Association and of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his father he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Rosalee Holbrook Lowe; one daughter Heather Lowe and her Fiancé William Stevens of Olive Hill; two grandchildren Brooklyn and Bailee Stevens of Olive Hill; one sister Donna Jean (Timmy) Boggs of Olive Hill; three brothers, Steve (Martha) Lowe, Roger (Lanetta) Lowe and Terry Lowe all of Olive Hill. Ricky is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday Nov. 21, 2016 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home in Olive Hill, with Bro. Bobby Day and Bro. Tommy Barker Officiating. Burial followed in Olive Hill, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Special friends Donnie Carroll, Harmie Justice, David McGlone, Bob Phelps, Gordon Womack, and David Goshorn served as honorary pallbearers.
Friends called 6-9 p.m. Saturday Nov. 19, 2016, anytime Sunday Nov. 20, 2016 and after 8:00a.m. Monday at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home 149 Whitt Street Olive Hill.
