Mr. Richard Dolan Biggs, age 52, of Grayson, passed away Sunday evening, March 26, 2017, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born July 27, 1964, in Boyd County, a son of the late Samuel and Bethel Church Biggs.
Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Living Water Worship Center in Cannonsburg. He worked as a truck driver and was co-owner of the Pizza Shack in Grayson. Richard enjoyed looking at old cars, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Oliver and one sister Sandra Elaine Oliver Bailey.
Richard is survived by his wife of seven years, Bridget Davis Biggs; two step-children, Kraig Crockett II (Haley Ball) and Khristal Hall, all of Grayson; two brothers, Samuel Biggs (Regina) of Deland, Florida, and Austin Biggs (Cynthia) of Russell; his mother and father-in-law, Phillip and Connie Davis of Grayson; two nephews, A.J. Biggs of Russell, and Jason Young of Charleston, West Virginia; and one niece, Faith Biggs of Russell. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, with Pastor Timothy French officiating. Military honors will be presented by Olive Hill American Legion Post # 138 following the service at the funeral home.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
