Mrs. Rejean Stamper, age 86, of Fairborn, Ohio, formerly of Olive Hill, passed away Sunday morning, April 16, 2017, at Kettering Memorial Hospital in Kettering, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 30, 1930, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Earl and Clara Manning Stamper.
Rejean was of the Christian Baptist faith and worked for Muirs Drug Store for 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting, caring for others, and spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Otis Stamper; one brother, Norman Stamper; and one sister, Pauline Cotsamire.
Rejean is survived by two sons, James R. Stamper of Boise, Idaho, and Keith Stamper of Fairborn, Ohio; two grandchildren, Keith "Denny" Stamper and Keri Zonkoski; and four great grandchildren, Bryce Zonkoski, Brooke Zonkoski, Keith Stamper Jr., and Patrick Stamper. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, with Brother Larry Joe Ruley officiating.
Friends may visit from 12 noon till 1 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
