Raymond Scott Boggs
Mr. Raymond "Scott" Boggs, age 40, of Mason Circle, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday morning, December 2, 2019, at his residence.

He was born June 14, 1979, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of Freddie and Patricia Sloas Boggs.

Scott was a farmer and he enjoyed fishing, listening to music, mowing and spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leonidas and Irene Boggs; his maternal grandparents, Graydon and Lillie Sloas; one niece, Makayla Montjoy Boggs; one cousin, Andy Whisman; and several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion, Joyce Dewey Stallard of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one son, Graydon Tate Scott Boggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two daughters, Lakyn Jaide Boggs of Morehead, Kentucky, Lily Ann Boggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one stepdaughter, Shonda Murray of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; three step grandchildren, Zayden, Kayden, and Aubriana; one brother, Ray Boggs (Sara) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and one sister, Sheila King (Clodes Jr.) of Grayson, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Jason Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Boggs Family Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019, and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.

Ray Boggs, Freddie Boggs, Danny Dehart, Mikee Nolen, Gardner May, Peewee Adams, Jeff Miller and Steve Wheeler will serve as pallbearers. Donnie Sloas, Jamie Sloas, Shawn Lafever, John Ingles, Brent Biggs, Robert Adams, Jason Preston, Isiah Bush and J.R. Adams will serve as honorary pallbearers.
