Mr. Phillip Randal Leadingham, age 22, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday morning, December 2, 2017, from injuries sustained in a ATV accident.
He was born June 2, 1995, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of Mike Leadingham (Pam) and Kim Calhoun Leadingham.
Phillip was of the Christian faith and a member of the Local Carpenters Union # 472. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Jewel Calhoun, and paternal great grandparents, Randal Hedge, Harlan and Mildred Garvin and Eugene Leadingham.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Kristen Terry of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two brothers, C.D. Leadingham (Karrie) of Morehead, Kentucky and Donald Leadingham (Heather) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three sisters, Michelle Leadingham and Haley Leadingham both of Olive Hill, Kentucky and a half sister, Mariea Lair of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandparents, Donald Kay and Loretta Garvin of Olive Hill, Kentucky; great grandmother, Opal Hedge of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three nephews, Cory Lair, Brentyn Leadingham and Jase Leadingham; and six nieces, Heaven Leadingham, C.C. Leadingham, Teagan Leadingham, Neala Leadingham, Marley Leadingham and Lexie Leadingham. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Travis Duncan and Brother Rex Seagraves officiating. Burial will follow in the Hedge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 and after 9 a.m. Thursday, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
C.D. Leadingham, Donald Leadingham, Cory Lair, Ryan Williams, Odie Robinson and Tony "T-Bone" Buckler will serve as pallbearers. Don Oppenheimer, Mose Oppenheimer and Kay Garvin will serve as honorary pallbearers.
