Mr. Paul Lee Reeves, age 86, of Mansfield, Ohio, formerly of Olive Hill, passed away Friday morning, September 22, 2017, at his residence.
He was born November 16, 1930, in Lewis County, a son of the late Selvia Samuel and Bertha Perry Reeves.
Paul was of the Christian faith and worked for 58 years as a steel worker. He loved bluegrass gospel music and enjoyed playing his banjo and guitar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Olma Iran Reeves and one sister, Nora Littleton.
Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Smith Reeves; one brother, Robert Reeves of Mansfield, Ohio; and two sisters, Pauline Clay of Mansfield, Ohio, and Cloma Meredith of Mt. Sterling. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill, with Brother Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilliam Cemetery in Lewis County, Kentucky.
Visitation is from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
