Ms. Marquetta Harris Manning, age 55, of Olive Hill, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 21, 2016, at her mother's residence.
She was born April 1, 1961, in Carter County, a daughter of Janet Porter Harris of Olive Hill, and the late Delmas Harris.
Marquetta was of the Church of God faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, riding four wheelers, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Destiny Manning.
In addition to her mother, Marquetta is survived by one son, Glennis Allen Manning (Sharla) of Olive Hill; two daughters, Jessica Lee Manning (Dewayne Wagoner) and Tonya Gayle Manning Biggs, all of Olive Hill; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Delmas Dwayne Harris of Olive Hill; one sister, Beverly Manning of Olive Hill; and one special friend, Eddie Parish. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Justin Wagoner and Brother Elijah Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery in Elliott County.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, and until the service hour on Wednesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Dewayne Wagoner, Jesse Goodan, Eddie Parish, Louis Biggs, Dwayne Harris, and David Harris will serve as pallbearers.
