Lynnie Mae Lowe, 77, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 28, 2016, at her home. She was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Grahn, to the late Bailey and Ethel (Bryant) Lowe.
Lynnie came to Mansfield at the tender age of 16. She was an area homemaker her entire life. Lynnie's family meant everything to her and her greatest joy was seeing and playing with her great-grandchildren. She was an amazing woman, genuinely kind and lived life on her own terms. Lynnie taught her children to be independent and confident and that legacy will live on in the lives of all her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Dana) Pierce and JoAnn (Steve) Wenninger; three grandchildren, Joe Pierce (Jennifer Glow), Miles Parsons (Lindsay Brown) and Emily Parsons (Brent Christy); six great-grandchildren and two more on the way. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Guadalupe Gamez.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family. Memorial contributions in memory of Lynnie may be made to Susan G. Komen, P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
