Ms. Kayla Rae Lowe, age 29, of Olive Hill, passed away Friday evening, March 31, 2017, at her residence.
She was born June 10, 1987, in Boyd County, a daughter of Philip and Lorey Binion Lowe.
Kayla was of the Christian faith and was saved and baptized at the First Baptist Church of Olive Hill. She was a mother of two beautiful children, whom she loved with all of her heart. Kayla's life was dedicated to raising her children, breakfast every morning, games in the yard, and crafts anytime. In addition to the love of her children, she also enjoyed art, listening to music, and being with her family and friends, especially evening cookouts with her daddy. Kayla will leave a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She had the kindest heart and sweetest soul that can never be overlooked or forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfathers, Millard "Red" Binion and Bob Garvin and the love of her life, Matthew Kiser.
In addition to her parents, Kayla is survived by one son, Kizer Lowe of Olive Hill; one daughter, Kynzee Knipp of Olive Hill; one brother, Philip "Drew" Lowe of Olive Hill; three sisters, Cymilee Napier (Johnny) of Olive Hill, Amanda Lowe of Morehead, and Tessia Lowe of Olive Hill; maternal grandmother, Larna Parish Binion of Olive Hill; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Bonita Lowe of Olive Hill; maternal great grandmother, Hazel Garvin of Olive Hill; special aunt, Brenda Binion Douglas of Olive Hill; and two special friends, Nichole Dean of Olive Hill and Kia Rayburn of Morehead. She also leaves many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Clyde Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Memorial Park in Olive Hill.
Friends visited from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017, and until the service hour on Wednesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Chad Binion, Dustin Roe, Coty Roe, Justin Dixon, Shannon Lowe and Chris Burns will serve as pallbearers. Drew Lowe, Austin Roe, Keith Carroll, Spencer Kiser, Sam Thompson, Aaron Dickerson, Derrick Kinder, Bill Parish, Dave Parish and Chris Dean will serve as honorary pallbearers.
