Mrs. Judith Ann Stone Warneld, age 72, of Grayson, passed away Friday evening, December 29, 2017 her residence.
She was born January 24, 1945, in Carter County, a daughter of Mary Gennive "Jenny" Adkins Stone of Grayson, Kentucky, and the late Jack Stone.
Judith was of the Church of God Prophecy faith and worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Stewart Moore in Ashland, Kentucky. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 17 years, Edward "Sarge" Warneld; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela Coburn and Scott of Georgetown; two stepdaughters, Thressa Lewis of Florida, and Shelly Mauro and Steve of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robbie Stone and Jack Stone Jr. and LouElla, all of Grayson; and two sisters, Pamela Johnson of Flatwoods, and Rosa Stone of Grayson. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, with her son-in-law, Scott Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson.
Visitation is from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday January 5, 2018, at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
