Mrs. Juanita Phillips Stevens, age 90, of Englewood, Ohio, formerly of Grahn, Kentucky, passed away Friday evening, August 11, 2017, at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born June 13, 1927, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Roy and Nancy Sparks Phillips.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Stevens, one brother, Ivan Phillips and one infant sister.
She attended Olive Hill High School in Olive Hill, Kentucky, a Christian for many years and attended Greenview Calvary Tabernacle in Dayton, Ohio. Juanita cherished the time she spent with her family.
Juanita is survived by her only daughter and son in-law, Karen Stevens Stewart and husband Ron of Englewood, Ohio; her beloved dog Reggie and several nieces and nephews who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Rev. Dr. Timothy Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Pat Carroll, Larry Dale Taylor, Barry Phillips, Steve Phillips, W.C. Gilbert, and Nathan Eldridge will serve as pallbearers. Donnie Carroll and Kerry Jarvis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
