Juanita Irene Davis

Juanita Irene Jarrell Davis, 68, of Olive Hill went to be with her Lord Monday June 19, 2017 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Juanita was born September 11, 1948 in Greenup, Co. KY a daughter of the late Elman Sr. and Margaret McGarey Jarrell. Including her parents Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie James Davis in 2009; two brothers, Elman Jarrell Jr. and Ray Jarrell; one sister, Charlene Madden; and a grandson, Justin Scott Davis.
Juanita was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Juanita enjoyed going to flea markets and sewing. Juanita was a Christian and attended the Carter City Church of Christ.
Juanita is survived by three sons, James Ronnie (Chris) Davis of Louisville, SFC Jerry Dale (Tamara) Davis of Junction City, KS and Joey Scott (Andria) of Grayson; one grandson, Jarred Scott Davis; two step-grandchildren, Ashley (Tyrel) Denico and Michael (Megan) Blue; four Step great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jeremiah, Zoey and Darien; three brothers, Ronald (Liza) Jarrell of Columbus, OH, Lawrence (Bonnie) Jarrell of Marysville, OH and Vernon (Reda) Jarrell of Greenup; three sisters, Mary Dean (Abe) Howard of Columbus, OH, Sharon Howard of Greenup, and Linda Milano of Timmonsville, SC; a special friend, Henry "Shorty" Kiser; and several nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday June 26, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Chris Bellew and Wick Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlone Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Sunday and after 9 am Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the Davis Family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
