Mrs. Jessica Ann Stephens Sprouse, age 29, of Webbville, passed away Wednesday morning, April 5, 2017, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born Dec. 25, 1987, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Ora David and Tammy Rutherford Stephens of Grayson.
Jessica was a member of the Freedom Tabernacle and was a homemaker. She enjoyed being at home with her babies, making crafts, singing, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by one infant child; paternal grandparents, Ory and Delma Stephens; maternal grandfather, Rev. Gene Rutherford Sr.; and her maternal great grandmother, Evelyn Games.
In addition to her parents, Jessica is survived by her husband of eight years, James Sprouse; two sons, Christopher Isaac Sprouse and Gabriel Alexzander Sprouse, both of Webbville; one sister, Kayla Stephens of Grayson; her maternal grandmother, Frances Rutherford of Cleveland, Ohio; and her mother and father-in-law, Eddie and Tammy Sprouse of Webbville. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the Freedom Tabernacle in Webbville, with Brother Roy Adams, Brother James Allen Adams, and Brother Matthew Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Freedom Tabernacle Cemetery in Webbville.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Freedom Tabernacle in Webbville.
Roger Perry, Danial Perry, Robert Rutherford, Bd Akers, Brandon Sprouse, Kenny Fraley, Tylor Gump, and Gene Rutherford will serve as pallbearers.
