Jean Ann Waugh Myers, 76, of Louisville, formerly of Olive Hill, entered into rest Friday morning Nov. 4, 2016 at Norton's Women and Children Hospital in Louisville. Jean was born Sept. 9, 1940 in Grahn, a daughter of the late Arnold and Sallie Day Waugh.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother-in-law Burl Wilburn and her significant other Bob Bedell.
Jean Spent most of her Life as an Educator & Social worker holding a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Social work, working many years at Seneca High school in Louisville.
She is survived by Three Sisters, Dessia Wilburn of Olive Hill; Allie Waugh of Olive Hill, and Norita Jarvis and her husband Earl of North Judson, IN; one Brother Gilbert Waugh and his wife JoAnn of Titusville, FL; Several Neieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of realtives.
Jean is also survived by a group of special and dear friends and neighbors who were by her side during her battle with cancer, Barbara Reck, Susan & Lily Kouns, Larry Miller and Michael Hanks all of Louisville.
A Celebration of Jeans life will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday Nov. 14, 2016 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, with Bro. J.C. Bond Officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill.
