Mr. James Franklin Williamson, age 60, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday morning, June 13, 2017, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Grayson, Kentucky.
He was born September 22, 1956, in Elliott County, Kentucky, a son of Mary Stephens Williamson from Hitchins, Kentucky and the late Robert Williamson.
James was of the Christian faith and enjoyed woodworking, riding 4-wheelers, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his companion, Codie Tolliver of Grayson, Kentucky; three sons, Jason Johnson (Connie) of West Liberty, Kentucky, Joey Williamson and Jesse Williamson both of Vanceburg, Kentucky; one daughter, Crystal Johnson of Grayson, Kentucky; six grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Williamson (Monica) of Rush, Kentucky, Jr. Brickey and Ova Sexton (Jennifer) all of Hitchens, Kentucky; and three sisters, Gayle Sexton (David) and Mary Hall (Robert) all of Hitchens, Kentucky, and Melinda Middleton of Lexington, Kentucky. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Ray McGranahan officiating. Burial followed in the Sexton Cemetery on Daveys Run in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends visited from 12 noon till 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Grayson Funeral Home, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
