Mr. James Jason Tolliver, age 34, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Monday evening, August 7, 2017, at his residence, after a long battle with liver disease.
He was born December 14, 1982, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of Jackie Miles Tolliver and the late James Tolliver.
James was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed hunting, playing games and loved watching movies.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Herman Tolliver, and his maternal grandparents, Garrett and Elizabeth Miles.
In addition to his mother, James is survived by his paternal grandmother, Minnie Tolliver of Grayson, Kentucky; three aunts, Judy Moiser of Grayson, Kentucky, Juanita Holbrook of Houston, Texas, and Codie Pitsenbarger of Grayson, Kentucky; two uncles, Joseph Miles of Surgoinsville, Tennessee, and Johnny Miles of Elyria, Ohio; his best friends, Jamie Felty and Shannon Miles, both of Grayson, Kentucky; and his pet dog, Deedle. He also leaves many cousins, friends, and family who will mourn his passing.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, Kentucky, with Brother Paul Holbrook officiating.
Friends may visit from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.
Shannon Miles, Jamie Felty, Donnie Thomas, Scott Jeffers, and Brian Thomas will serve as honorary pallbearers.
