Jama's Story

Ms. Jama Lou Lowe, age 63, of Pekin, Indiana, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017.

She was born May 9, 1954, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of Benson Lowe and the late Louise Carroll Lowe.

Jama was of the Pentecostal faith and a former employee at Cowdens Sewing Factory in Olive Hill. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her father, she is survived by one son, James Oney of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Ronnie Lowe (Bernita) and Timothy Lowe (Patty) all of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Joseph Lowe of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; one sister, Kathy Frazier (Todd) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and a special friend and care giver, Donna Champion. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Three Pine Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Gary Sparks officiating.

Friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at the church.

Globe Funeral Chapel will be taking care of all arrangements for Ms. Jama Lou Lowe.
