Ida Belle Mullins Leadingham
Mrs. Ida Belle Mullins Leadingham, age 77, of Counts Hollow, Olive Hill, entered into rest Monday morning, December 30, 2019, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born April 30, 1942, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Roy and Vesta Stegall Mullins.
Ida was of the Baptist faith and she worked at Cowdens Sewing Factory. She enjoyed cooking, reading and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth "Arvin" Leadingham; one son, Gary Randall "Randy" Leadingham; two brothers, Roy "Buster" Mullins and Jim Mullins; and one sister, Belva Cartwright.
Ida is survived by one very special daughter-in-law, Jody Leadingham of Ashland; one grandson, Josh Leadingham; three step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, Abigail Leadingham, Kadence Leadingham, and Justin Leadingham; two step great grandchild; two sisters, Janet Heaberlin of Georgetown, Florida and Peggy Cochran of Olive Hill; and one very special nephew, John Bowling. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Elder John Bowling, Elder Jr. Ruggles and Elder Terry Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
