This world has lost a wonderful young man with the death of Hunter Frazee Womack, of Grayson on July 21, 2016. He was born May 12, 1981, in Ashland, the son of Amanda Hart Womack and the late John Gaines Womack II.
Hunter was an outstanding high school athlete, an avid fisherman and golfer. After graduating from East Carter High School, he attended the University of Kentucky and Morehead State University. Hunter developed a love of construction while working with his dad and brother in the Womack Development Company. He was skilled as a welder and a large crane operator, and served as a Superintendent for IBARR Co.
Hunter enjoyed spending time at the family cabin at Lake St. John, and was a devoted family member, loyal Wildcat fan, and a true friend to many. Hunter loved animals and could often be seen accompanied in his truck by the family dogs.
He is survived by his mother, Amanda Hart Womack, his brother John Gaines Womack III, grandmother, Margaret S. Womack, Aunts Marsha Jones (George) of Maysville; Peggy Gray (Ricky) of Flemingsburg; Karen Womack of Grayson and Great-Aunt Joyce S.
