Mrs. Holly Jo Stanley Smith, age 50, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday evening, January 4, 2018, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born December 24, 1967, in Mason County, a daughter of the late Edward and Edith Stanley.
Holly was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Brian Stanley; one granddaughter, Corra Barker; one sister, Freda Stanley; and one half brother, Ronnie Stanley.
Holly is survived by her husband, Leon Smith; seven sons, Zachary Adkins, Joshua Adkins, Dustin Adkins, Willis Adkins, all of Elliott County, Kevin Cooley and Austin Cooley of Petersville, and Harold Rodman of Tollesboro; three daughters, Regina Cooley of Petersville, Ashley Barker of Olive Hill, and Sarah Gillespie of Vanceburg; four stepsons and three daughters-in-law, Scotty Smith, Thurston and Deann Smith, Steven and Jackie Smith, and Jeff and April Smith, all of Olive Hill; three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Eddie and Debbie Stanley and Clark Stanley, all of Illinois; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Angela Spaulding Stanley of Augusta, and Mary and Chuck Gossage of Illinois. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2018, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Jason Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2017, at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
