Mrs. Frances Stallard Kiser, age 69, of Carter City, passed away Thursday evening, February 15, 2018, at her residence.
She was born July 1, 1948, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Kermitt and Blanch Cooper Stallard.
Frances was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, quilting, dancing, listening to country music and spending time with her family and friends, especially with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Phillip Ray Kiser.
Frances is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael Fultz of Carter City, Scott and Janet Fultz of Olive Hill, Mitchell and Diane Kiser of Olive Hill; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Lynn and Rich Smith of Louisville; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Bernard and Donna Stallard of Olive Hill; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorene and David Duvall of Olive Hill, and Judy and Rudy Reed of Grayson. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Chris Bellew officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, and after 10 a.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
David Lewis, Aaron Duvall, Christopher Reed, Marty Stallard, Caden Stephens, and Jeff Davis served as pallbearers.
