Eileen Easterling, 86, of Grayson died Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. She was born June 1, 1930 a daughter of the late Sadie Mayo Littleton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Van Everett Davis; two sons, Van Everett Davis Jr. and Charles "Spunky" Davis; two sisters, Faye Mauk, and Jinx McMillian.
She was a waitress for many years at the Jackson Restaurant in Grayson; she was also a minister, and member of the Church of God of Prophesy.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Easterling; a daughter, Dena (Fred) Shepherd of Grayson; a son, Phil (Connie) Davis of Grayson; a brother, Cecil(Cathy) Littleton of Tipp City, OH; four grandchildren, Ginger (Terry) Adams, Fred (Ronda) Shepherd Jr., Bridgett(Richard) Biggs, and Chad Shepherd, all of Grayson; seven great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Rob Trantham, minister. Burial will follow in the Mayo Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
