Mrs. Debbie Kay Mabry Reynolds, age 61, of Rush, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 12, 2016 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 27, 1954, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Burley and Catherine Mullins Mabry.
Debbie was a member of the Limestone Apostolic church and worked as a Teacher's Aide for the Carter County Board of Education. She enjoyed going to church, listening to gospel music, going on family outings, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two nieces, Debra Butler and Catherine Ann Reynolds, and three brothers-in-law, Tillman Hignite, Wilburn Caudill, and Arnold Hamilton.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jimmy "Jim" Reynolds; one daughter and son-in-law, Letish and Richard Carter of Rush; one grandson who was the pride and joy of her life, Ryan Carter; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Shirley Caudill of Grayson, Sharon and Curt Bond of Mansfield, Ohio, Charlotte Hignite, Deloris Reynolds, and Kathy Hamilton, all of Olive Hill; and a child who she thought of as her own, Jack Brammell. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Rick Crank officiating. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, and until the service hour on Saturday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
