Curtis Barber, age 80, of 4 Mile Road, Grayson, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at the Kingsbrook Life Care in Ashland.
Mr. Barber was born March 11, 1937, in Carter County, a son of the late James and Dolly Shephard Barber.
Curtis was a retired farmer and mechanic and loved spending time with his family and visiting with friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Barber and Chester Barber and one sister, Dollie Carroll.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty seven years, Emma Rogers Barber; one son and daughter-in-law, Mickey Joe and Jennifer Barber of Grayson; one brother, Elbert Barber of Grayson; three sisters, Betty Haye of Grayson, Ruth Haye and Dottie Williams, both of Mansfield, Ohio, along with a host of extended family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
At family's request there will be no funeral service or visitation.
