Mrs. Brenda Christine Moore Henderson, age 40, of Olive Hill, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, Feb. 9, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 26, 1976, in Lawrence County, a daughter of William "Bill" and Sandra Salyer Moore of Lawrence County.
Brenda was a member of the Mills Branch Apostolic Church and worked at Nestle in Mt. Sterling. She enjoyed going to church, reading her bible, being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ferrell and Virginia Moore and her maternal grandparents, Bertell and Emma Jane Salyer.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 18 years, Allen Henderson; two sisters, Lisa Moore and Ruth Moore, both of Lawrence County; three special nieces whom she thought of as her own, Chelsie McGuire, Emily McGuire, and Brooke McGuire, all of Olive Hill; two nieces, Megean Boyd of Lawrence County, and Nova Starostka of Olive Hill; one nephew, Brent Burchett of Lawrence County; and one great nephew, Brentley Burchett of Lawrence County. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill, with Brother Mike Caudill and Brother Larry Joe Ruley officiating. Burial followed in the Reynolds Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends visited from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Sunday at Mills Branch Apostolic Church, 376 Mills Street, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Charles Reynolds, Johnathan Reynolds, Bradley Workman, Rickey Tackett, Rodney Burchett, Brent Burchett, Joe Bailey, and Nathan Eldridge served as pallbearers.
Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill, is caring for all arrangements for Mrs. Brenda Christine Moore Henderson.
