Mrs. Ambers "Peck" Reynolds Henderson, age 62, of Olive Hill, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 26, 2016, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born Sept. 27, 1954, in Carter County, a daughter of the late John Freeman and Christine Gilliam Reynolds.
Ambers attended Mills Branch Apostolic Church. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Ashland Community and Technical College. Ambers retired from Pioneer Trace Nursing & Rehabiliation Center as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed learning her geneology, talking about nursing, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Reynolds and Ruby Reynolds.
Ambers is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Allen Henderson (Brenda) and Charles Henderson, all of Olive Hill; one daughter and son-in-law, Rachel Henderson Starostka (Eric) of Olive Hill; three grandchildren, Chelsie McGuire, Emily McGuire, and Brooke McGuire; one brother, Charles Reynolds of Olive Hill; and one sister, Patty Reynolds of Mansfield, Ohio. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill, with Brother Mike Caudill and Brother Larry Joe Ruley officiating. Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill.
Ricky Tackett, Homer Stamper, Jonathan Reynolds, Danny Stamper, Bradley Workman, and Larry Stamper will serve as pallbearers.
